Brandon’s crazy 50th Birthday Motorcyle Cake

Using a fine piping tube, pipe the entire leather band pattern with a soft royal icing. Then airbrush the entire area including the line piping with brown food color. You can make brown with red and green food colorings mixed together. Now to get the effect of the stretched leather, I'm just applying some watered-down royal icing. I'm painting over the piped areas of color that have had a bit of airbrush work applied as well. So, if you want to age something, that's how you apply it - just by putting all shades of color on top.
The handlebars and metallic areas are being airbrushed with black food color. If you can't get hold of black mix red, blue and green colorings together, which will give an acceptable likeness to black.
